Several years ago, Run into Blackness: Feeling My Poetic Gumbo (Pneuma Publishing International, Inc.) was scheduled to be published. It didn't happen. Why? The list would make another book. After much reflection, I've concluded it wasn't the right time.
Yet, 2009 apparently was the right time. I'm glad I waited too because I added some needed poems after experiencing certain events and meeting new people. These new pieces were part of the puzzle. The picture became clear.
Now, I'm ready to launch into 2010 with Run into Blackness. If you've purchased a copy already, thank you. If not, ask for a copy at your local bookstore or library.
